As a member of CARROS, your engagement – including your continuing ACR participation, contributions to CARROS, and valuable devotion to the advancement of radiation oncology within the ACR and across organized medicine – are crucial to the development and success of our several missions.

New CARROS Committee Structure - CARROS is a chapter of the ACR that represents radiation oncologists nationwide. As a chapter, CARROS has several standing committees outlined in its Bylaws. Additionally, the CARROS Executive Committee created additional committees aligned with focus areas of the College, and recognized via the Chapter Recognition Program. Read more.
CARROS at ACR 2023 - The ACR annual meeting took place in May of 2023. CARROS held an interim meeting and caucus, coordinated with the ACR Commission on Radiation Oncology to put on a CME session, took an active role in the Council meeting supporting resolutions, and ensured the recognition of distinguished members through ACR Fellowship and Honorary Fellowship. Development of CARROS Activities - In the Summer of 2023, CARROS focused on a variety of activities, including member recognition, legislative efforts, support of ACR activities, and developing plans for membership outreach. Read more.
CARROS at ASTRO 2023 - CARROS had a presence during the 2023 ASTRO annual meeting in the Fall. This included hosting an information session, the CARROS annual meeting, and a networking reception. CARROS members received recognition by ASTRO and were well-represented throughout the week in ASTRO sessions and events. Read more.
Member Engagement in ACR Programs - CARROS members are well represented within ACR, serving in College leadership and on various commissions and committees. Read more.
